New! SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants: Deadline Sept. 15, 2017

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) has announced the launch of a NEW funding opportunity:聽Partnership Engage Grants!聽The deadline to submit applications for the inaugural competition is聽September聽15, 2017.听This grant has a streamlined application process and four deadlines per year, with a quick adjudication.
These one-year grants, valued between $7000 to $25000,聽are intended to support a聽partnership聽between a聽researcher and a聽not-for-profit, public or private sector partner organization.
This new funding opportunity allows non-academic organizations and post-secondary researchers to work together to benefit from each other鈥檚 unique knowledge, expertise and capabilities on topics of mutual interest. These grants support聽short-term research activities聽that will聽inform decision-making聽at the partner organization in the public, private or not-for-profit sector. These small-scale, stakeholder-driven partnerships should respond to an organization-specific need, challenge and/or opportunity.
